As I/we bid farewell to this heartbreaking of a yr 2020 .. that none of us will ever forget. I want to reflect back on some positive about the one thing in my life that has kept me sane >> my business. When I decided 10 yrs ago to leave the medical field to pursue my dream job of being a starving artist, lol, I was only going to give it a few months, haha.. Andrew gave a big laugh and backed me for the long haul, I worked part time and built my business in the art field and community, I was blessed to have become part of several amazing galleries downtown and have some of the very best memories of those days and they are priceless to me, I am also blessed to have my work in several venues in town still today, Ijam nature center, Earth to the old city and the Southern Market and I am a member of the Arts and culture Alliance at the Emporium. this took being a starving artist for many yrs. Then I decided there just has to be more!! So I opened my etsy shop in 2016, offering home decor, paintings and custom gifts, it took 2 yrs of hard work building my shop, 9 hr days in adverting, designing, networking, sleepless nights brainstorming ,, and it started to grow, then one day a client asked me do you think I could use this design as an urn? DING DING DING!!! YES!!!! oh boy did the light switch switch on bright!! and the next phase of my business was born and 2 yrs ago

, still with lots of hard work in networking, and all those hats a business owner has to wear, those urns were catching on!!! last yr with 340 sales and this yr. heading out with 765 sales!! I am so proud!!! I built this on my own!! well with the encouragement of my toughest critic Andrew !! So with that being said if you got a dream follow it! fight for it!! make it happen!! it will take a long time but you can make it happen!! where there is a will there is a way!! Happy New year!!!
